Ceramic heaters have an emissivity of 0.9. The infrared ceramic heating elements is made of a high temperature resistance nickel chrome alloy. This element is fired inside the ceramic material. This process and the glazed surface of the ceramic radiator provide extensive protection for the metallic heating elements, preventing both oxidation and corrosion. See #2.
