Crete-Lease 727 Specification Sheet
6. Produce CCS 2 with Crete-Lease 727, 880, 880-VOC and 20-VOC. Use Crete-Lease 727 when form reuse is more important than visual impact. When superplasticizers are used in the concrete mixture or visual impact is especially important use Crete-Lease 880. Use Crete-Lease 20-VOC or Crete-Lease 880-VOC to meet air quality (VOC) hazard and/or pollution regulations. See #1.

BuildingGreen.com - Green Product Sub-category: Coal Fly Ash
...Green Product Sub-category: Coal Fly Ash Coal fly ash is a waste product of coal-fired power plants and can be used as a substitute for some of the portland cement in a concrete mixture?up to 60% is common, but even higher levels of substitution are possible. It makes the concrete stronger and gives it improved workability compared with a conventional mix. See #2.

Tile Tech Pavers - Concrete Pavers, Architectural Concrete Pavers, Precast Concrete Pavers, ...
...specific sands, crushed stone, cement, water and color fast pigments which provide most of the color. A computer operated machine, especially designed for the purpose, forms the concrete mixture into the varous shapes and. We manufacture most of our pavers with a beveled edge around the top of the paver. The bevel, or chamfer, ensures that there... See #3.

Decorative Concrete | Colored Concrete Sample Specification - Prism Pigments
...shall be Michigan Series 6AA quarried limestone gradation as specified in Section 902 of the Standard Specifications for Construction. All course or fine aggregate used in the concrete mixture shall be from the same MDOT approved source. Concrete Admixtures. All shall meet the requirements of Section 903 Standard Specifications for Construction. See #4.

Elastizell - What does Elastizell do?
...is added to a concrete slurry or grout while mixing to produce cellular concrete. The foam volume controls the density of the concrete by creating stable air cells within the concrete mixture. These air cells are coated with cement paste which upon setting results in a discrete cell structure. Elastizell concentrate is designed to resist the... See #5.

What is Stamped Concrete? Concrete Fx, decorative concrete
...arranged over the surface in a predetermined pattern. When the stamps are removed, a texture and/or imprint is left. Color is added to the surface prior to stamping or to the concrete mixture itself. A contrasting colored release powder is also applied across the surface of the concrete to keep the stamps from sticking to the concrete. Once... See #6.

Building a reinforced AB Courtyard Post - How To Sheet #140
(300 mm) from the bottom. Next place the sonotube in the post hole and install vertical bracing to hold the sonotube in a level upright position. Step 4: Concrete Pile Pour the concrete mixture into the top of the sonotube until both the sonotube and the posthole are filled. Make sure the sonotube is level and plumb. (Rebar can be added while... See #7.

General Polymers Overview
...Formulation (1) The concrete itself must below permeability and high density to minimize moisture movement within the slab. The following guidelines will yield a suitable concrete mixture: Cementitious Content 517 lbs/cubic yard Water-Cement Ratio 0.40-0.45 Maximum Coarse Aggregate Size 1-1/2" Air Content 4-6% Slump (w/0 high-range Water... See #8.

Precast Concrete Foundation and Wall Panels Concrete wall Cast
Manufacturers are able to produce mixes that harden to 5, 000 psi, which is stronger than concrete block or concrete walls formed and cast in the field. Better control of the concrete mixture and curing environment allows the use of low water/cement ratios that results in a dense material that prevents water penetration. Article courtesy of:... See #9.

Fastener Specifications for the Safety Boot Guardrail System
...or similar anchors and; 4 - 3/8 X 1-1/2 Inch Fender Washers (Washers Provided with ALL Orders) Anchor using the four primary corner holes. IMPORTANT: Due to the variances in concrete mixtures and applications (such as, concrete mixture type, psi strength, slab thickness, cure time, etc.), concrete fasteners used to secure the Safety Boot... See #10.

AVR, Inc. - Ready Mixed Concrete Products
Fly ash is a waste by-product from power plants that burn coal. SELF CONSOLIDATING CONCRETE Self Consolidating Concrete is a highly workable concrete mixture that can be placed in heavily reinforced structural elements without vibration. Self Consolidating Concrete uses super-plasticizer and viscosity modifying admixtures. See #11.
