Annealed glass

InKan Limited - Spandrel Glass
...and outstanding colour uniformity from panel to panel. Less chance of colour variation due to "read through" of back-up material. OPACI-COAT-300® can be applied to annealed glass and cut down on the job site. This proprietary "state of the art" water based coating is environmentally safe, having no organic solvents, and is lead free. See #1

...and fully tempered glass? Heat treating glass by heat strengthening or fully tempering it increases its strength. Heat strengthened glass is approximately twice as strong as annealed glass of the same thickness, however heat strengthened glass is NOT a safety glazing product. Fully tempered glass is approximately four to five times as strong... See #5

...to the desired shape, then tempered by super cooling to trap high energy within the glass. The resulting bent tempered glass has up to a fourfold strength increase compared to annealed glass of the same thickness and if broken, breaks into an innumerable number of relatively small fragments of more or less cubicle shape. Our maximum size is... See #7

...and durability to 31, 000 psi without distorting its shape or clarity. We can also chemically temper labware or flat glass. Chemical strengthening (also known as tempering) of annealed glass containing sodium increases its thermal and structural strength, without affecting optical properties. It is particularly useful with thinner glass, as... See #9

O'Keeffe's -- Custom ladders, skylights and fire-rated glass
Wired glass, without a special film, is not safety glazing. The wires give the illusion of safety, when in fact they weaken the glass making it only half as strong as annealed glass and giving it only one-tenth the impact strength of tempered safety glass. When broken, wired glass exposes razor sharp wires that can trap a human body... See #13

Fire Glass: SAFTI FIRST Article Library
I don’t know what the temperature rise on the unexposed surface may be but it is bound to be significantly lower than wired glass and other annealed glass. A third type has an invisible coating of some sort which is highly effective in reducing the temperature rise on the unexposed surface such as SuperLite I-XL. See #16
