CertainTeed Corporation Receives Third-Party Safety Designation for its Panorama™ Composite Railing System

“Panorama is a low-maintenance product that combines beautiful aesthetics with durability to withstand nature’s elements,” says Patti Pellock, Marketing Manager for the CertainTeed Fence, Railing and Deck Division. “This report provides our customers the added assurance that Panorama is a safe, secure railing system that meets stringent International Residential Code requirements.”

The Panorama system is designed to install quickly and easily with few pieces. It features a weatherable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) capstock and composite core made of CertainTeed’s patented, EcoTech™ material, a formulation of PVC and 100-percent recycled maple wood flour. Panorama maintains consistent quality over time and can be easily cleaned with soap and water. And, unlike wood, Panorama is not susceptible to termite infestation and will not rot, decay, splinter or crack. The product features a Class A fire rating.
