AGC Group to unify group brands under the name AGC effective September 2007.

AFG Industries, Inc. becomes AGC Flat Glass North America Sep 7, 2007 Until now, local and regional brands had been maintained within the group. They are now unified worldwide under the AGC brand in order to promote consistency, permit ease of recognition of the wide range of technologies, products and services covered by the AGC group, and foster the success of our global growth strategy. In the Flat Glass division, “Glaverbel” (Europe) becomes AGC Flat Glass Europe, AFG (North America) becomes AGC Flat Glass North America and operations in Asia unify under AGC Flat Glass Japan Asia.
