MERILLAT® CABINETRY TAKES FUNCTION AND DREAM DESIGN TO THE BATH

New web section with bath planner allows homeowners to explore the latest bath solutions from Merillat cabinetry

Sep 29, 2011

When thinking about Merillat® cabinetry, the first thing that comes to mind is usually the kitchen. But consumers should know Merillat cabinetry has smart solutions for the bathroom too! Just launched on Sept. 15, the beauty and functionality of Merillat cabinetry is showcased in the new bath section on Merillat.com.

Today’s bathrooms are increasingly being considered the home’s sanctuary, a place to unwind after the day’s routine. Creating these dream spaces takes a great deal of planning and coordination, but with the new bath section on Merillat.com, homeowners will be inspired to create their own oasis. In fact, Merillat cabinetry has teamed up with Danny Lipford, contractor and television host of Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford, to show homeowners how to design a bathroom just right for them.

MERILLAT® CABINETRY TAKES FUNCTION AND DREAM DESIGN TO THE BATH

Within the new bath section, Lipford offers professional tips for planning a beautiful and functional bathroom using Merillat cabinetry and accessories. In addition, he takes visitors on a tour of his latest renovation, the Kuppersmith project, which features Merillat cabinetry in the bathrooms. Lipford stresses the importance of designing the bathroom space to fit your needs. And, since the bathroom is typically smaller, designing the bath is all about maximizing the amount of functional space – which is why Merillat cabinetry is the perfect solution.

In addition, visitors to the bath section are able to explore design elements unique to bathrooms, such as vanity tops, flooring, and faucets, plus learn the current trends in bath design. They can also check out the storage features that make a bathroom more functional; things like glass cabinet doors, smaller drawers to organize bathroom products, and open shelving to make towels and linens more accessible. Visitors even have the option to design their own bathroom with the Merillat Step-by-Step bath planner.

“Homeowners’ want to design their bathrooms to reflect their personalities,” explains Susan Cross, communications manager for Merillat. “And, with the many design options and storage accessories from Merillat cabinetry, homeowners can create a relaxing getaway in their own homes that meets their individual needs.”

The new Merillat.com bath section will help homeowners envision their dream bathroom, and in turn inspire them to make it a reality with Merillat cabinetry.
